Open Air Course Slides
Make warm, picture-led decks for programmes that happen outdoors, such as field courses, walk series, field weekends and evening sessions: rounded picture windows, a framed cover with a ticket tab, smoked plates under captions, compact capsules, small ring portraits, asymmetric picture tiles and a three-stop timeline.
Bring the programme, the audience, the facts and times to use exactly, the page count and your own photographs or pictures. The Skill returns one offline HTML deck that edits in the browser and exports editable PowerPoint.
How it works
Brief and sequence
Your Agent asks for the topic, the audience, what should happen after the talk, the facts and numbers to use exactly and the page count, then gives every page one layout and picks one palette.
Pictures and build
The Skill does not make pictures: it places your own photographs in the rounded windows, tiles and portraits. It writes plan.json and settings.json, then runs kit.py compose, make-deck.py and verify-deck.py to build one offline HTML file.
Look and export
It opens every page in a browser and checks wraps, overlaps and labels, tries edit, undo, save and present, then exports PowerPoint and runs verify-pptx.py against the deck.
Frequently asked questions
Is the PowerPoint really editable?
Yes. Headlines, captions, capsules, cue keys, timeline stops and cards are native PowerPoint text and shapes with speaker notes; each picture is its own picture with its crop. The only full-slide picture is the designed cover photo. The example decks have 136 and 108 text boxes.
Where do the pictures come from?
From you. The Skill places your photographs or pictures; it calls no model or image service. The pictures in the examples are simple illustrations drawn in code just for these demos.
Which fonts does it use?
Albert Sans, embedded in the deck, under the SIL Open Font License. PowerPoint has regular and bold only, so semibold labels export as bold; install Albert Sans on the presenting machine for matching wraps. Chinese, Japanese and Korean use the system face and display sizes step down automatically.
What are the known limits?
Geometry is fixed per layout (four tiles, four portraits, three stops, four kit cards, four closing columns). On the cover, people in the picture can sit partly behind the right-hand card when the subject is not in the centre-right third, and a small caption on a light picture can be low in contrast.
What was tested?
Both example decks were built from a fresh unzip of the package. Every page was inspected in Chrome and in a LibreOffice render of the exported PowerPoint, 31 browser interaction checks and 17 error-path checks passed, and python-pptx edits survived save and reopen. PowerPoint, Keynote and WPS were not opened.
