Brass Fastener Puppets

A stop-motion paper cut-out film on a warm-lit tabletop — a jointed puppet pinned at every joint by brass split pins walks, waves, leaps and bows on a torn-paper night set, poses stepping at 12 fps with per-step jitter, procedural paper grain, depth-stacked shadows and a synthesized plucked score whose foley lands on the step clock.

How it works

Build the page: node scripts/build.mjs <sheet.json> --out build — validates the sheet and inlines the engine, GSAP and fonts.
Optional: node scripts/stills.mjs --build build --at 2,7,11,20.7,32 — contact-sheet poses before rendering.
Render: node scripts/render.mjs --build build --out film.mp4 --workers 4 — the page exports its cue list and the render script synthesizes and muxes the score.
