Crayon Storybook — Boil

A hand-drawn picture-book film that re-draws every spread 8 times a second like a re-coloured animation cel — directional crayon scribble fills broken by paper tooth, coloured-pencil outlines, a drawn page-turn curl between spreads, hand-lettered bilingual captions, and a fully synthesized music-box score.

How it works

Score it: choose bpm and key, lay out sections, and time foley beats (scribble, whoosh, tap) to the page turns.
Run scripts/build.mjs to bake the sheet into a self-contained HTML page, then scripts/stills.mjs to check every spread.
Run scripts/render.mjs: hyperframes captures the deterministic page, the score is synthesized to WAV and muxed to a finished MP4.
