Sci-fi Toon Duo

An adult-swim-era sci-fi sitcom short: a deadpan lead and a nervous sidekick chase a petty errand through dimension doors. Every contour boils — resampled to ~7 px and cycled through three 12 fps redrawings — over flat fills with one hard shadow, and each world owns a palette so a cut lands before the eye parses a prop. A lumpy doorframe portal is the only glowing thing; dialogue is styled caption cards with a text-driven pseudo-lipsync, no TTS.

Sci-fi Toon Duo

Render an adult-swim-era sci-fi sitcom short: a deadpan lead and a nervous sidekick chase a petty errand through dimension doors. Every contour boils — resampled to ~7 px and cycled through three 12 fps redrawings — over flat fills with one hard shadow, and each world owns a palette so a cut lands before the eye parses a prop. A lumpy doorframe portal is the only glowing thing. Dialogue is styled caption cards whose mouths move on a pseudo-lipsync envelope from the text, no TTS; a synthesized theremin lead, sub bass and square arp plus cartoon foley carry the jokes.

How it works

  1. npm install inside the Skill folder, then build.mjs → validate + assemble the self-contained page.

  2. stills.mjs for a contact sheet; check door landings, boil and per-world palette reads.

  3. render.mjs → film.mp4, verified by ffprobe + a full ffmpeg decode.
