Step-Print Light Trails

A neon night street on two clocks: a low-rate clock where every frame is a long exposure averaged from sub-samples — the crowd, rain and traffic smear into light trails while the still subject stays sharp — and a clean slow-gaze clock for contrast. Signs ignite in sequence, a flip-digit clock ticks, captions stay razor-sharp, and shots end on a whipped smear-out or a held freeze exposure.

Step-Print Light Trails

How it works

  1. Author a sheet (JSON): the shots, palettes, walkers, trails, signs, captions

  2. The build validates it and bakes the deterministic renderer into one HTML page

  3. Render in pinned headless Chromium — same sheet, same frames on every machine
