Bubble Scatter Timescrub

A narrated bubble-chart sting. One scatter plot is the whole stage: a giant year odometer rolls behind the bubbles while a piecewise time map races, eases into holds and rewinds. A wooden pointer stick reaches in and taps the narrated bubbles — they keep ink rings and dotted trails while everything else dims — and the ending rewinds time once more while the axes rescale into the story's range. Silent, deterministic, frame-seekable.

How it works

Choose 1–4 narrated bubbles with distinct arcs; anchor them across the range
Set log-x domain, human tick labels, and a tighter end domain for the zoom-out-in
Build, inspect stills at every beat, then render
