Forest Quarterly Slides

Make decks that read as a printed quarterly or an editorial year-in-review: a three-tone register of deep forest green, dusty pink and oat cream, a tall literary serif with mono chrome, monogram-circle page numbers, mixed filled and outlined tile grids and paired bar charts on a colour field.

Forest Quarterly Slides

Bring the season or programme under review, the audience, the figures to use exactly, the page count and content language. The Skill returns one offline HTML deck that edits in the browser and exports editable PowerPoint.

How it works

  1. Brief and page list

Your Agent asks for the season, the audience, the figures and the page count, then picks eight layouts into plan.json — each one already knows its word budget.

  2. Compose and build

kit.py composes the plan into deck.json with one of four colour presets, and make-deck.py assembles the offline presentation.html.

  3. Look and export

Page through the deck, edit text and speaker notes in the browser, then export PowerPoint and run verify-pptx.py against the HTML.

Frequently asked questions

Why only three tones?

The register is a colour-blocked quarterly: forest is the field, pink the highlight, oat the paper. A fourth colour reads as noise, so every element uses one of the three.

Where do pictures go?

This kit is figure-free by design — decorative weight is carried by the tile grids, monogram circles and paired charts.

What do the demos use?

demo-1 keeps the Juniper palette for an 8-page shore watch season report; demo-2 switches to Clover for a 7-page apiary spring report.
