Gilt Briefing Slides

Make decks that read as institutional briefings or considered board documents: deep editorial navy and warm cream as interchangeable fields, antique-gold punctuation only, a near-invisible 80px grid texture on every dark page, and hairline mono chrome — transitional serif display against mono datelines.

Gilt Briefing Slides

Bring the subject of the briefing, the audience, the figures to use exactly, the page count and content language. The Skill returns one offline HTML deck that edits in the browser and exports editable PowerPoint.

How it works

  1. Brief and page list

Your Agent asks for the subject, the audience, the figures and the page count, then picks thirteen layouts into plan.json — each one already knows its word budget.

  2. Compose and build

kit.py composes the plan into deck.json with one of four navy presets, and make-deck.py assembles the offline presentation.html.

  3. Look and export

Page through the deck, edit text and speaker notes in the browser, then export PowerPoint and run verify-pptx.py against the HTML.

Frequently asked questions

Why navy and cream as interchangeable fields?

A briefing alternates between argument pages (navy field, cream type) and evidence pages (cream field, navy ink) — the same voice in two registers.

Where is the gilt used?

Antique gold is punctuation only: short rules, italic ems inside serif headlines, stat numerals, kickers, em-dash bullets, one chart bar and the quote mark.

What do the demos use?

demo-1 keeps the Slate palette for a 10-page ferry-line service review; demo-2 switches to Harbour for a 9-page weather-guild winter outlook.
