Triband Gazette Slides

Make decks that read like three-ink seasonal gazettes: berry surface, butter accent and ink type on Bricolage Grotesque and Instrument Serif — a chip-row cover, principle grid, headline figure and colophon.

Triband Gazette Slides

Bring the season, the membership or circle the gazette reports to, the figures to use exactly, the page count and content language. The Skill returns one offline HTML deck that edits in the browser and exports editable PowerPoint.

How it works

  1. Brief and page list

Your Agent asks for the season, the membership and the page count, then picks nine layouts into plan.json — each one already knows its word budget.

  2. Compose and build

kit.py composes the plan into deck.json and make-deck.py assembles the offline presentation.html — the register is text-only, so no art pass is needed.

  3. Look and export

Page through the deck, edit text and speaker notes in the browser, then export PowerPoint and run verify-pptx.py against the HTML.

Frequently asked questions

Why three inks?

The register's premise is that a seasonal prints itself in three inks — one surface, one accent, one text. More would read as a brochure, so the layouts stay strict.

Can I add a photograph?

The layouts have no picture slots — the register is typographic. If the story needs a plate, pair the deck with a drawing from a sibling Skill or a separate art pass.

What do the demos use?

demo-1 keeps the Triband palette and runs a 9-page quilting circular; demo-2 switches to the Harbour palette and runs a 9-page bathing-club annual with a different page order.
