Velvet Script Slides

Make decks that read like nocturnal editorial issues: a single near-black velvet canvas, pearl-paper type with one hot-pink accent, serif display numerals, mono masthead chrome and framed line-art plates.

Velvet Script Slides

Bring the season, the membership or society the issue reports to, the figures to use exactly, the page count and content language; drawn plates are optional and painted by the Skill. The Skill returns one offline HTML deck that edits in the browser and exports editable PowerPoint.

How it works

  1. Brief and page list

Your Agent asks for the season, the membership and the page count, then picks twelve layouts into plan.json — each one already knows its word budget.

  2. Compose, draw and build

kit.py composes the plan into deck.json, velvet-art.py draws any plate panels, and make-deck.py assembles the offline presentation.html.

  3. Look and export

Page through the deck, edit text and speaker notes in the browser, then export PowerPoint and run verify-pptx.py against the HTML.

Frequently asked questions

Why one register?

The deck's premise is that a velvet canvas reads as one mood. Paper appears only as type, hairlines and small fills — never as a page of its own — so the issue keeps its after-hours voice.

Can I put a photograph on the rooms page?

The plate slot is sized for a drawn panel from the bundled painter. You can swap in your own image file, but it will sit inside the same hairline frame and the same mono caption.

What do the demos use?

demo-1 keeps the Velvet palette and runs a 12-page wireless quarterly; demo-2 switches to the Ember palette and runs a 12-page auction annual with a different page order.
