Example draft

Which Weibo hot topics are still rising

Three snapshots of Weibo’s top 50 hot searches between 15:30 and 16:10 on a weekday.

The answer

Most of the list is on its way down. At the last snapshot 21 topics were fading and 21 had already left the list, against 10 rising and 11 new.

A rising topic

"Only children may not inherit all of their parents’ estate" climbed from #14 to #5 and its heat grew 81% in 40 minutes.

A topic past its peak

An AI short drama set in the Song dynasty held #2, but posts about it fell from about 10 a minute to 3–5. The first wave is over; joining now means joining late.

From a real run on 2026-11-05. Political topics are reported as data only.

What you get

  • Stage for every topic: new, rising, peaking, fading, stable or dropped
  • Posting velocity and who is posting for chosen topics
  • A watch list for a brand, sector or crisis

Good fit

  • Deciding when to join a trend
  • Watching whether a brand or crisis topic escalates

Not for

  • Movement between snapshots
  • Reading a removed topic as faded interest

  2. Compare

Match topics, compute position and heat change, and classify each stage.

  3. Check velocity

Read the newest posts for chosen topics twice and compare the flow.

FAQ

How do I use this Skill?

Download and unpack the whole Skill folder, including references, into your Agent’s supported Skill directory. You can also ask the Agent to read its SKILL.md and follow the instructions. Run it locally with your own material.

Why several snapshots?

One list shows what is hot. Change over time shows what is moving, which a single list cannot.
