2. Authentication

Set your SandBase API key in your server environment. Requests use Bearer authentication.

Keep your key on the server. Do not expose it in browser code.

3. Parameters

place_idintegerrequired

Numeric Tripadvisor place ID, up to 16 digits.

tripadvisor_domainstring

Supported first-party localized Tripadvisor hostname, such as www.tripadvisor.co.uk.

localestring

Lowercase language code with an optional uppercase country, such as en or en-US.

Default: "en-US"

startinteger

Review offset from 0 through 10,000.

Default: 0

numinteger

Number of reviews, 1 through 50.

Default: 10

sort_bystring

Review order: recent (newest first) or relevance.

Default: "recent"

Possible values: recent, relevance

translateboolean

Request Tripadvisor's machine translation of reviews.

Default: false

timeoutnumber

Optional budget for the entire request in seconds, measured from gateway receipt until the response is ready to send. Includes admission, queueing and settlement. Must be greater than 0 and at most 90. On expiry, the call is not billed and returns 503 request_deadline_exceeded with retryable=true an
