Dark Sector: A Top-Down Shooter Lit Only by Your Lamp
Fight through a facility with the power out, in one offline HTML file: you see only what light touches, from your lamp, your bolts, blasts and the power cells you wake. Wake every cell on a floor to call the lift; crawlers charge, gun drones hold range and fire back. Four seeded floors, health pips, score and a par-time bonus, with twin-stick touch on a phone. Every sprite and sound is drawn or synthesised in code.
Bring the setting and the story text, and optionally the floors, the enemies, the light and the numbers. The Skill returns a downloadable Skill (the shooter project, a customize guide, headless verification) and one playable example run.
How it works
Your coding agent copies the working game and follows the customize guide: floor names and sizes, enemy behaviour and counts, light radius and ambient level, weapons, HUD copy and sound.
The simulation has no DOM and runs on a fixed step, and floors come from a seed, so the verification and the cover replay the same way every time.
The game is played headlessly under the sandbox policy: boot, moving, the darkness check, firing, a kill, waking a cell, a floor clear, death, retry and the final extraction, plus a phone run.
Frequently asked questions
Does it call a model or need a key?
No. The Skill gives your agent a working game, a customize guide and verification; the game itself makes no network calls and calls no model.
Why is the demo sandboxed?
The frame has an opaque origin and no network access, so the scene can’t read anything from this page or reach the internet.
Is the game in English only?
Yes. The page is in two languages; the game’s own text is in English.
Can the map stay dimly visible?
Yes: raise the ambient light in the config. The darkness check asserts the contrast, so adjust it together.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes: the left stick moves and the right stick aims and fires. Verified under touch emulation, not on real devices.
Why is there no online generation?
Building a new scene needs a model key inside the sandbox, which the backend doesn’t support yet. Run the Skill with your own agent for now.
