Driftline Cove: A Lantern-Lit Fishing Cove

Cast into a golden-hour cove and work the line, in one small offline HTML file: aim, charge the cast onto shallow, mid or deep water, hook on the `!` and ride telegraphed surges — twenty-one species across four unlockable spots, a tackle shop, a catch journal and a day/night plus weather cycle. A three.js scene where every fish is inline SVG and every sound is synthesized.

Driftline Cove: A Lantern-Lit Fishing Cove

Bring the cove and its waters, the species and the economy, and optionally the tackle tiers, the weather, the palette and the UI text. The Skill returns a downloadable Skill (the fishing game project, a customize guide, headless verification) and one playable example day.

How it works

  1. Your coding agent copies the working game and follows the customize guide: the cast-and-tension loop, the species table, the shop and journal, the day/night and weather cycle, and the synth audio.

  2. The published example is the full loop: a bobber cast onto zoned water, telegraphed surges while reeling, fish sold for gear, and four spots unlocked over a day that runs into lantern-lit night.

  3. The game is played headlessly under the sandbox policy: menu, cast and retrieve, the map, the shop and a rod purchase, the journal, pause, a nightfall and a weather cycle, and a phone cast.

Frequently asked questions

Does it call a model or need a key?

No. The Skill gives your agent a working game, a customize guide and verification; the game itself makes no network calls and calls no model.

Why is the demo sandboxed?

The frame has an opaque origin and no network access, so the scene can’t read anything from this page or reach the internet.

Is the game bilingual?

Yes. Both the page and the game’s own UI switch between English and Chinese.

What are the visuals and audio made of?

All of it is code: three.js for the water, sky and lanterns, inline SVG for the fish, and WebAudio synthesis for the splash, reel and ambient sound. No image, font or audio files ship with it.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes: press and release casts under touch. Verified under touch emulation, not on real devices.

Why is there no online generation?

Building a new scene needs a model key inside the sandbox, which the backend doesn’t support yet. Run the Skill with your own agent for now.
