Grid Serpent: A 3D Snake Game With Three Landscapes
Steer a cartoon serpent round a 20×20 board in 3D, in one offline HTML file: three landscapes, two render styles, chase, eye-level and top-down cameras, a speed-up with every fruit and a win for a full board. Models, textures and sounds are all generated in code.
Bring a landscape, its fruit and the serpent’s look, and optionally the speed, rules and sounds. The Skill returns a downloadable Skill (the reference game project, a customize guide, headless verification) and one playable example run.
How it works
Your coding agent copies the reference game and follows the customize guide: sky and light, board colours, scenery, the serpent and its wearables, a new landscape or fruit.
Everything is built into one HTML file, because the meshes, textures and sounds are generated in code.
The game is played headlessly under the sandbox policy: start, eating, turns, pause, every camera, a crash, each landscape and style, a cleared board, play again and a phone.
Frequently asked questions
Does it call a model or need a key?
No. The Skill gives your agent a reference game, a customize guide and verification; the game itself makes no network calls and calls no model.
Why is the demo sandboxed?
The frame has an opaque origin and no network access, so the scene can’t read anything from this page or reach the internet.
Is the game in English only?
Yes. The page is in two languages; the game’s own buttons and messages are in English.
Can I make my own landscape?
Yes. Sky, light, board colours, scenery and the fruit are data in the project; the customize guide shows how to add a landscape or a fruit.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes, with a turn pad under the board. It has been verified under touch emulation, not on real devices.
Why is there no online generation?
Building a new scene needs a model key inside the sandbox, which the backend doesn’t support yet. Run the Skill with your own agent for now.
