Guild Ladder: An Idle Life on the Harbour
Climb from dock drudge to a seat on the harbour guild in an idle life sim, in one offline HTML file: three job lines of five posts, twelve skills that raise pay and xp, and lodgings and gear you pay for every day. Run out of marks and you are back on the stoop. From forty the beacon opens; touch it to start again with lasting xp multipliers, so each life climbs faster. A harbour scene changes with your stage of life, and time runs at ×1, ×4 or ×16.
Bring the setting, the job lines and the skills, and optionally the items, the numbers, the rebirth rules and the scene. The Skill returns a downloadable Skill (the idle-game project, a customize guide, headless verification) and one playable example run.
How it works
Your coding agent copies the working game and follows the customize guide: the post, skill and item tables, the pay and xp curves, the lifespan and the beacon, the scene and the UI copy.
The simulation runs on a fixed step, so the verification and the cover fast-forward the same life the same way every time.
The game is played headlessly under the sandbox policy: the first post, training, buying, promotion, running out of marks, the end of a life, rebirth and a faster second life, plus a phone game.
Frequently asked questions
Does it call a model or need a key?
No. The Skill gives your agent a working game, a customize guide and verification; the game itself makes no network calls and calls no model.
Why is the demo sandboxed?
The frame has an opaque origin and no network access, so the scene can’t read anything from this page or reach the internet.
Is the game in English only?
Yes. The page is in two languages; the game’s own text is in English.
How long does one life take?
At ×16 a life of seventy years takes a few minutes; skills that extend the lifespan make it longer.
Does it work on mobile?
Yes: the layout is rebuilt for a portrait phone with no sideways scrolling, and every card and button is at least 44 px. Verified under touch emulation, not on real devices.
Why is there no online generation?
Building a new scene needs a model key inside the sandbox, which the backend doesn’t support yet. Run the Skill with your own agent for now.
