Shard Field: A Vector Space Shooter With Splitting Shards

Fly an inertial skiff through a field of drifting shards, in one small offline HTML file: shots crack large shards into medium and small ones, an amber drone crosses and fires back, every cleared field brings a bigger wave, and three skiffs end the run. Glowing outlines are drawn in Canvas 2D and every sound is synthesised.

Shard Field: A Vector Space Shooter With Splitting Shards

Bring a look and palette, the shapes of the skiff, shards and enemy, and optionally the numbers, rules and sounds. The Skill returns a downloadable Skill (the reference game project, a customize guide, headless verification) and one playable example run.

How it works

  1. Your coding agent copies the reference game and follows the customize guide: colours and glow, text, shapes, shard sizes and splitting, handling and bolts, scoring and lives, the drone, a second enemy, controls, sound, field size.

  2. Everything is built into one small HTML file: the simulation is plain JavaScript, the outlines are drawn in Canvas 2D and every sound is synthesised.

  3. The game is played headlessly under the sandbox policy: title, start, turn, thrust, fire, a split shard, the drone, a wave, pause and resume, game over, restart and the touch stick and fire zone on a phone.

Frequently asked questions

Does it call a model or need a key?

No. The Skill gives your agent a reference game, a customize guide and verification; the game itself makes no network calls and calls no model.

Why is the demo sandboxed?

The frame has an opaque origin and no network access, so the scene can’t read anything from this page or reach the internet.

Is the game in English only?

Yes. The page is in two languages; the game’s own text is in English.

Can I add another enemy?

Yes. The customize guide walks through adding a second enemy type next to the drone: numbers, spawn, collisions, drawing, sound and a verification step.

Does it work on mobile?

Yes: the left thumb steers with a floating stick and the right thumb fires. It has been verified under touch emulation, not on real devices.

Why is there no online generation?

Building a new scene needs a model key inside the sandbox, which the backend doesn’t support yet. Run the Skill with your own agent for now.
