Glass Weather: Valley Vitrine

A weather toy in a glass box: squeeze a cloud to rain, shake it for lightning, drag the sun and turn the seasons, let snow and mist pile up and brush them away with the wind.

Glass Weather: Valley Vitrine

Bring a landscape, its weather rules and an optional palette. The Skill returns a downloadable Skill, an interactive demo and an example video.

How it works

  1. Generate a project and edit the terrain recipe, flora, seasons and weather limits in weather.json.

  2. Build one offline HTML and verify every gesture with real mouse, touch and keyboard input.

  3. Download the Skill and explore its interactive demo and example video.

Frequently asked questions

Does it need a model key?

No. The scene runs offline without model calls.

Is this a weather simulation?

No. It is an illustrative toy: rain, snow, mist and lightning follow simple authored rules in fixed ticks, not atmospheric physics.

Can I change the landscape?

Yes. The terrain recipe, flora, seasons and limits come from weather.json; a terraced desert with palms and adobe houses passes the same checks without code changes.

Does the box shake, and is there sound?

The box stays put; you shake a cloud, not the box. Optional synthesized rain, wind and thunder start muted after a gesture. Nothing is stored; reloading restores the seed.
