WebGPU Soft-Body Gummy Bears
Four translucent gummy bears on an ivory floor, rendered with native WebGPU. A deterministic 36-second choreography stretches, presses, flips and tumbles them before they settle back to the exact rest pose. Drag any bear to stretch, squish or toss it. A fixed-step tetrahedral XPBD solver in one offline HTML.
Bring a soft subject, its gesture choreography and an optional palette. The Skill returns a downloadable Skill, interactive demos and example videos.
How it works
Generate a project; the body shape, cage and gesture schedule live in src/sim.mjs.
Build one offline HTML and verify every control with real mouse and touch input.
Download the Skill and explore its interactive demos and example videos.
Frequently asked questions
Does it need a model key?
No. The scene runs offline without model calls.
What if my browser has no WebGPU?
The scene needs WebGPU and has no WebGL fallback. The page shows a notice instead; a recent desktop Chrome, Edge or Safari works.
Is this a material simulation?
It is real XPBD on tetrahedra with volume preservation, but the units are illustrative, not measured candy rheology.
Can I use another subject?
Yes, with code edits: the body shape, cage and gesture table are bear-specific code in src/sim.mjs, so a coding agent rewrites them and reruns the tests.
Is there audio?
Only optional short synthesized squishes, muted at first. Nothing is stored.
