FLUX.1 SRPO [dev]
FLUX.1 SRPO [dev] uses a preference-optimized FLUX.1 variant designed to favor visually compelling, prompt-aligned image results. This image-to-image route begins from a supplied source and transforms its appearance or content while retaining the visual foundation needed by the brief.
Use it when aesthetic selection and clear prompt interpretation matter more than neutral base-model behavior. Explain both the desired transformation and the composition, subject identity, or structure that should survive the edit. SRPO’s role is to improve the model’s preference toward satisfying results, while the brief remains responsible for the exact creative target.
Highlights
- Preference-optimized editing. Applies an aesthetic and prompt-alignment preference model to source-led transformation.
- Source composition retention. Keeps useful structure and identity from the input while changing requested content or style.
- Visually satisfying reconstruction. Favors coherent color, lighting, detail, and composition in the revised result.
- Directed semantic change. Uses natural-language art direction for object, environment, and stylistic revisions.

When to Use
| ✅ Good fit | ❌ Consider alternatives |
|---|---|
| The project needs this exact generation or editing route | The intended task belongs to video, audio, or 3D media |
| Available references match every required local field | Required source assets or rights are unavailable |
| The brief can specify composition, color, and finish | Output must be deterministic at pixel level |
| Supported dimensions and formats fit final placement | Delivery requires unsupported canvas specifications |
| An asynchronous generated image fits production | A live frame-synchronous response is mandatory |
Prompt Guide
Write a complete visual brief: identify the subject and references, define composition and viewpoint, describe lighting, palette, materials, typography, and finish, then list exact preservation constraints. FLUX.2 Klein does not rely on prompt upsampling, so use clear descriptive sentences rather than sparse keywords.
