Hunyuan 3D 3.0 Image to 3D

POST/v1/run

Hunyuan 3d V3 is Tencent's image-to-3D AI model. Transform photographs into production-ready 3D meshes with accurate geometry and texture mapping.

Request body

Submit an async generation request. The model field selects the model; other fields are model-specific input parameters.

Model identifier. Set to tencent/hunyuan-3d/3.0/image-to-3d.

Default: tencent/hunyuan-3d/3.0/image-to-3d

stringimagerequired

URL of image to use while generating the 3D model.

Optional<boolean>enable_pbr

Generate PBR materials (metallic, roughness, normal). Ignored for Geometry output.

Default: false

Optional<string>polygon_type

Polygon type. Only takes effect when generate_type is LowPoly.

Allowed values: triangle, quadrilateral

Default: triangle

Optional<string>generate_type

Normal: textured model. LowPoly: polygon reduction. Geometry: white model without texture.

Allowed values: Normal, LowPoly, Geometry

Default: Normal

Optional<integer>face_count

Target polygon face count (custom face count is billed as an add-on).

Range: 40000 to 1500000

Default: 500000

Optional<string>back_image

Optional back view image URL for multi-view reconstruction.

Optional<string>left_image

Optional left view image URL for multi-view reconstruction.

Optional<string>right_image

Optional right view image URL for multi-view reconstruction.

Response Schema

The submit endpoint returns a run response. If its status is pending or running, poll GET /v1/run/{id} with the returned opaque ID until it reaches a terminal state.

Current public run status.

Allowed values: pending, running, completed, failed, timeout

Optional<string>model

Public SandBase model name used for this run.

Optional<array<object>>outputs

Present only for completed runs. Each object is capability-specific; inspect the selected model schema for its fields.

Present only for failed or timeout runs. Contains a public error type and sanitized message.

Optional<string>error.type

Stable public error category.

Optional<string>error.message

Sanitized error message safe to show to clients.
