POST/v1/run

Vidu Q3 Mix by Shengshu - animate still images into dynamic videos with AI. Transform photos into cinematic clips with natural motion, camera movement, and optional audio generation.

Request body

Submit an async generation request. The model field selects the model; other fields are model-specific input parameters.

Model identifier. Set to vidu/q3/reference-to-video/mix.

Default: vidu/q3/reference-to-video/mix

Text prompt for video generation, max 2000 characters

Optional<string>aspect_ratio

The aspect ratio of the generated image.

Allowed values: 21:9, 16:9, 3:2, 4:3, 5:4, 1:1, 4:5, 3:4, 2:3, 9:16

Optional<boolean>audio

Whether to use direct audio-video generation. When true, outputs video with sound.

Default: true

Optional<string>resolution

Output video resolution

Allowed values: 360p, 540p, 720p, 1080p

Default: 720p

Optional<integer>duration

Duration of the video in seconds (1-16 for Q3 models)

Range: 1 to 16

Default: 5

Optional<integer>seed

Random seed for reproducibility. If None, a random seed is chosen.

Optional<array<string>>reference_image_urls

URLs of 1 to 4 reference images used to keep subjects or scenes consistent

Response Schema

The submit endpoint returns a run response. If its status is pending or running, poll GET /v1/run/{id} with the returned opaque ID until it reaches a terminal state.

Allowed values: pending, running, completed, failed, timeout

Optional<string>model

Public SandBase model name used for this run.

Present only for failed or timeout runs. Contains a public error type and sanitized message.

Optional<string>error.type

Stable public error category.

Optional<string>error.message

Sanitized error message safe to show to clients.
