MiniMax H3 Max Turbo Image to Video
/v1/runMiniMax H3 Max Turbo, the fastest tier of the H3 family post-trained by fal, animates a first frame (and optional last frame) into a 5-15 second video with native audio.
Request body
Submit an async generation request. The model field selects the model; other fields are model-specific input parameters.
Model identifier. Set to minimax/h3-max-turbo/image-to-video.
Default: minimax/h3-max-turbo/image-to-video
Text prompt for video generation
Optional URL of the image to use as the first frame. When provided, the output canvas follows this image. If only end_image_url is provided, the canvas follows that last frame instead. If both images are omitted, the request is handled as text-to-video (16:9 by default).
Optional URL of the image to use as the last frame. It may be provided alone for end-only keyframe generation; in that case the output canvas follows this image.
The native generation resolution, or 1080P latent refinement from a native 768P source.
Allowed values: 480P, 768P, 1080P
Default: 768P
Video duration in seconds (5-15).
Range: 5 to 15
Default: 5
Optional URL of an audio clip at least 2 seconds long (maximum 15 MB) to pin to the generated soundtrack. Longer clips are trimmed to the requested video duration, keeping the beginning. The original audio replaces the output soundtrack, padded with silence if shorter than the video, without changing playback speed. Exceptionally high sample rates may be resampled to 96 kHz. Accepts an HTTP(S) URL or a base64 data URI.
How much effort to spend rewriting the prompt before generation. 'disabled' skips prompt expansion. 'balanced' returns in about a second. 'quality' spends up to ~30s on a richer prompt.
Default: balanced
Random seed. A random seed is selected when omitted.
Response Schema
The submit endpoint returns a run response. If its status is pending or running, poll GET /v1/run/{id} with the returned opaque ID until it reaches a terminal state.
Opaque SandBase run identifier. Use it exactly as returned; no prefix is guaranteed.
Current public run status.
Allowed values: pending, running, completed, failed, timeout
Public SandBase model name used for this run.
Present only for completed runs. Each object is capability-specific; inspect the selected model schema for its fields.
Present only for failed or timeout runs. Contains a public error type and sanitized message.
Stable public error category.
Sanitized error message safe to show to clients.
Usage details when available.
