Wan 2.2 5B Distilled API Reference

Request body

Submit an async generation request. The model field selects the model; other fields are model-specific input parameters.

Model identifier. Set to alibaba/wan/v2.2-5b/text-to-video/distill.

Default: alibaba/wan/v2.2-5b/text-to-video/distill

stringpromptrequired

The text prompt to guide video generation.

Optional<string>aspect_ratio

The aspect ratio of the generated image.

Allowed values: 21:9, 16:9, 3:2, 4:3, 5:4, 1:1, 4:5, 3:4, 2:3, 9:16

Optional<string>resolution

Resolution of the generated video (580p or 720p).

Allowed values: 580p, 720p

Default: 720p

Optional<integer>seed

Random seed for reproducibility. If None, a random seed is chosen.

Optional<string>interpolator_model

The model to use for frame interpolation. If None, no interpolation is applied.

Allowed values: none, film, rife

Default: film

Optional<integer>num_interpolated_frames

Number of frames to interpolate between each pair of generated frames. Must be between 0 and 4.

Range: 0 to 4

Default: 0

Optional<boolean>adjust_fps_for_interpolation

If true, the number of frames per second will be multiplied by the number of interpolated frames plus one. For example, if the generated frames per second is 16 and the number of interpolated frames is 1, the final frames per second will be 32. If false, the passed frames per second will be used as-is.

Default: true

Optional<number>shift

Shift value for the video. Must be between 1.0 and 10.0.

Range: 1 to 10

Default: 5

Optional<integer>num_inference_steps

Number of denoising or inference steps to run when supported.

Range: 2 to 50

Default: 40

Optional<number>guidance_scale

Request parameter supported by this model.

Range: 1 to 10

Default: 1

Response Schema

The submit endpoint returns a run response. If its status is pending or running, poll GET /v1/run/{id} with the returned opaque ID until it reaches a terminal state.

Opaque SandBase run identifier. Use it exactly as returned; no prefix is guaranteed.

Current public run status.

Allowed values: pending, running, completed, failed, timeout

Optional<string>model

Public SandBase model name used for this run.

Optional<array<object>>outputs

Present only for completed runs. Each object is capability-specific; inspect the selected model schema for its fields.

Present only for failed or timeout runs. Contains a public error type and sanitized message.

Optional<string>error.type

Stable public error category.

Optional<string>error.message

Sanitized error message safe to show to clients.
