MiniMax Hailuo 02 [Standard] (Image to Video)

POST/v1/run

Hailuo 02 Standard is MiniMax's image-to-video AI model. Bring static images to life with fluid animation, consistent character motion, and professional-grade video output.

Request body

Submit an async generation request. The model field selects the model; other fields are model-specific input parameters.

Text prompt that describes the image or asset to generate.

stringimagerequired

Input image URL or image data used by this model.

Optional<string>end_image

Optional URL of the image to use as the last frame of the video

Optional<string>resolution

The resolution of the generated video.

Allowed values: 512P, 768P

Default: 768P

Optional<integer>duration

The duration of the video in seconds. 10 seconds videos are not supported for 1080p resolution.

Allowed values: 6, 10

Default: 6

Optional<boolean>prompt_optimizer

Whether to use the model's prompt optimizer

Default: true

Response Schema

The submit endpoint returns an accepted generation task. Poll the result endpoint with the returned id for terminal outputs or errors.

Optional<string>error

Error message if the task failed. Empty on success.

Model ID used for the prediction.

Optional<array>outputs

Array of generated content. Empty when status is not completed.
